Plaque Control for Cats Benefits

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Ascophyllum Nodosum works from the inside out. Once digested, its natural compounds enter your dog’s saliva to fight bacteria, reduce biofilm and help prevent plaque from forming. It also supports gum health with anti-inflammatory properties and gentle enzymes that help soften existing plaque, making it easier to remove.

PLAQUE BUILD UP

Kelp is an iodine-rich ingredient known to: fight against plaque (tartar) build up, reduce gum disease, eliminate bad breath, prevent dental disease and maintain overall dental health.

⚠️ Not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

HEALTHY GUMS

Ascophyllum Nodosum, known as Norwegian Kelp, has natural anti-adhesive, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means by feeding daily, we can reduce levels of bacteria from sticking to the tooth enamel, loosen existing plaque and minimize tartar build up. It is used to help keep your cat’s teeth clean and reduce halitosis, (bad breath)!

FEATURES COCONUT

Plaque Control for Cats also features Coconut for its anti-microbial function. This ingredient helps to prevent the growth and spread of unwanted microbes as well as enhancing the flavor of our dental care supplement for cats.

ANY AGE & BREED

This plaque off supplement for cats is designed for any age and breed of cat. Please note that this is not suitable for cats with thyroid disorders.

    Cats don’t mind it!

I haven’t noticed and major major improvement of their teeth, but think it may need more time! Good thing is cats don’t notice it in their food!

Two for two! Hi Alexandra! Thank you so much for this wonderful review of our dental kelp powder for cats! We're pleased to hear that your cats don't notice it in their food - that's a crucial factor when it comes to maintaining a consistent routine with our feline friends! It makes supplementing so much easier when they're happy to have it with their meals.

You're absolutely right that dental health improvements can take some time to become noticeable, especially with natural supplements. Plaque buildup occurs gradually, and the improvement process works in a similar manner - steadily and consistently over time. The fact that your cats are accepting it so well means you're setting them up for long-term success with their oral health!

We really appreciate your patience and commitment to your cats' dental wellness journey. Consistency is key with our plaque control supplement, and it sounds like you're doing everything right by keeping them on a regular routine. We have great faith that you'll soon see greater results, just like other pet parents have reported.

We'd love to hear continued updates on how your cats are doing as they continue with the supplement, so please keep us posted. We can't wait for your next update!❤️

    Leo is happy

On yearly chek up I was told that Leos teeth are yellow and gums red little bit that indicate inflamation even though he was eating without any problems. Vet rekomend cleaning in 6 months. I started Plaque control and after two months his teeth are good now and no reddness.

    So happy!

Its all part of the routine

My not so little maine coon kitten, Nova just has this in her food and happily eats it. Now I could say she just isn't all that fussy, but she doesnt gobble up her food as quick if its not in there. I'll keep adding this to her food to help her teeth and gums stay in good health. Yeah, she's a goofy girl.

    Tooth health is so important

I give this to all three of my cats. I don't want my cats to have to go through the pain of tooth ache and then the anesthetic to have the tooth removed. The less anesthetic in a cats life the better . So far it's working. They eat their meals well. The powder hasn't phased them at all. This is one I will continue to use as all 3 of my cats are over 9 years old now and need this support to maintain their tooth health. One less health problem to worry about.

In general I am very impressed with the PetzPark powders. They have all done what they say they will do.

We're also happy to know that the powder hasn't phased them at all and they're eating their meals well with it. There's nothing better than hearing that our supplements integrate seamlessly into daily routines, making it easy to give our cats the support they need without any fuss or stress.

FAQs

Absolutely! We made sure that all of our supplements can be used alongside each other without any problems.

Please follow the recommended dosage for each product that you use for optimal results.

You bet! Since all of our supplements are in powder form, we can use it in lots of different ways.

Try starting with just a pinch of powder in your cat's food and gradually build up to the recommended dosage over several days. Every day adding an extra pinch of powder.

You can also try scooping your supplement to your cat's bowl first and adding food on top.

Another suggestion is to try adding their favorite treat!

This varies from cat to cat. Some owners see results within a couple of days, others in a couple of weeks. A factor of this could depend on the severity of their issues; another could be the size of your cat.

Always allow 4-6 weeks before expecting to see improvements in your cat.

You can use a cat-specific toothbrush and toothpaste to clean plaque off a cat's teeth. Gently brush your cat's teeth in a circular motion, focusing on the gum line. Start slowly and gradually increase the duration of brushing sessions. To further improve cat dental health, you could use cat dental treats.

Dental disease in cats can lead to death. Untreated dental problems can lead to severe infections, pain, difficulty eating and other health complications. Regular cat dental care, including professional cleanings and at-home maintenance, is essential for maintaining a cat's oral health and overall well-being.

While some dog dental sticks may be safe for cats to consume, it is not recommended. Cats have different dietary needs and may not benefit from dog-specific dental products. Choose cat-specific dental care options like kelp powder for cats or dental sticks.
